AI Rap Video Styles: Drill, G-Funk, Boom-Bap and More

Oct 24, 2026RapVidGen Team

Choose among six photo rap styles and understand what the homepage presets control. Compare scene, motion and sound, with a real Seedance sample.

A useful AI rap video direction describes a scene, a performance and a camera mood. In the homepage creator, these directions are supplied by style presets: choose a style for Solo or Duo rather than pasting a manual prompt. A preset guides generation; it does not guarantee exact lyrics, camera timing or facial consistency.

What the six homepage styles aim to create

| Style | Visual direction | When to try it | | ----------------------- | --------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------- | | Hotel Lobby Rap Booth | Orange recording booth and a hanging microphone | A simple studio setting with attention on the performer | | UK Drill Diss Track | Dark street, cold atmosphere and energetic gestures | A harder-edged performance mood | | 90s West Coast G-Funk | Warm light, palms and a relaxed street setting | A laid-back retro clip | | Anime Rap Battle Cypher | Illustrated energy, bold color and dynamic motion | A stylized rather than photorealistic look | | Cyberpunk Neon Cypher | Neon city lights and a futuristic setting | A bright night-scene performance | | 90s Boom-Bap Classic | Brick walls, graffiti and a vintage microphone | An old-school hip-hop look |

These are creative directions, not guarantees that every prop or action appears. The same style can look different with another photo, model or mode.

Listen before choosing

This 15-second Seedance cyberpunk sample is an actual file in the homepage example collection. It illustrates one output's style and sound.

Selecting a homepage sample sets that style, Seedance 2.0 Mini and 15 seconds, while preserving your current Solo or Duo mode. Review the updated price before generating.

What you can control in this version

You can choose the mode, style, available model and supported length. Solo uses one portrait; Duo uses two separate portraits and a shared-scene preparation step.

The homepage does not expose a free-form prompt field, custom song upload, voice cloning or exact lead/hype assignment. A style name is not a promise to reproduce a specific artist, song or recording.

Sound is a model choice

Seedance is configured to request original rap vocals and a beat. Kling has provider-documented audio support; Hailuo does not guarantee native audio. Selecting a musical style alone does not add a guaranteed audio track to a model that lacks that capability.

Improve results before adding more direction

  1. Use one clear face per photo, with the mouth visible and even lighting.
  2. For Duo, provide each portrait separately and avoid crowded group pictures.
  3. Start with a scene that keeps attention on the face, then compare more stylized options.
  4. Change one choice at a time when comparing results. Each new generation consumes its displayed credits.
  5. Check the model's supported duration and credit cost before submitting.

Common questions

Can I specify my own lyrics?

Exact lyrics and custom songs are not inputs in the homepage creator. Generated words and musical timing can vary.

Will a prompt preserve my face perfectly?

No preset guarantees exact likeness. Clear source photos help, but models can change facial details, especially in highly stylized scenes.

How do I create the orange booth style?

Choose Hotel Lobby Rap Booth in the homepage creator. Follow the orange booth walkthrough for the actual steps and limitations.
